The Cockrell School of Engineering offers academically competitive students financial packages that include one or more fellowships, paid teaching or research positions, insurance and tuition coverage. After completing an admission application, you will be considered for any available fellowships and accompanying support. Graduate program committees in each department nominate top applicants for these awards.
Students planning to pursue a doctoral degree receive special consideration for full funding packages, including multi-year fellowships and stipend support. There are also a number of one-year fellowships for both future and current students. Future graduate students usually receive fellowship offers from the Cockrell School in early to mid-spring. Current graduate students usually receive fellowship notifications during the summer.
Both incoming and current students must be nominated for any fellowships available from the Cockrell School. View the list of Graduate Program Coordinators and Advisors to visit with the person in your department who can advise you on available fellowship opportunities.
