Applications for MITE 2026 are now open.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be current high school juniors and must reside in the United States at the time of application.

Required Materials

  • Current high school transcripts must be electronically uploaded to our Ideal Logic platform.
  • Test scores are optional, but if available, applicants may include them in their application.

Academic Qualifications

  • Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria by the application deadline:
    • SAT Math score of 620 or higher (600 or higher if taken before March 2016)
    • ACT Math score of 26 or higher
    • AP Calculus AB or BC score of 3 or higher
    • IB HL or SL Mathematics score of 4 or higher
    • Official college or university transcript showing credit for Calculus I or higher with a grade of C or better
    • Official high school transcript showing credit for Calculus I or higher with a grade of C or better
    • Official high school transcript showing credit for Precalculus with a grade of C or better
    • Completion of five years or more of high school math at or above Algebra I

If applicants do not have test scores, they may apply using any of the other academic criteria listed above.

Deposit

  • Once accepted into the program, participants will submit a non-refundable $200 deposit through Ideal Logic.
