Brett Paulson is vice president of sales at Ketra Inc., a startup working on innovative LED lighting products in Austin.
Paulson holds an MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Cockrell School.

Prior to joining Ketra, Paulson was co-founder and chief executive officer of Naratte Inc., which built Zoosh, a software enabling millions of phones to make close, near-field connections. At Naratte, Paulson focused on product strategy and business development using Zoosh to build vertical solutions for the payment, loyalty and ticketing markets. These efforts led to revenue-producing commercial agreements with companies around the world. Paulson was granted several patents for his innovative work at Naratte. In late 2012, Naratte was acquired by Verifone, which now offers Zoosh.
