Texas Engineering Once Again Ranked Among Best U.S. Undergraduate Engineering Programs

Cockrell held its position from the previous year as the No. 11 best undergraduate engineering program in the U.S. and No. 6 among U.S. public schools, according to U.S. News & World Report’s annual rankings, released Sept. 12. Several of the Cockrell School’s programs are ranked in the top 10, with 3 ranked in the top 5.

The rankings for the Cockrell School’s undergraduate degree programs this year are:

  • Petroleum Engineering, No. 2
  • Civil Engineering, No. 4
  • Environmental Engineering, No. 5
  • Chemical Engineering, No. 6
  • Aerospace Engineering, No. 8
  • Computer Engineering, No. 8
  • Electrical Engineering, No. 10
  • Mechanical Engineering, No. 10
  • Biomedical Engineering, No. 14
