Hosted by the Engineering Career Assistance Center (ECAC), Engineering Expo is one of the largest career fairs in the nation, open to current UT Austin students and alumni.

Benefits of attending the Expo include:

  • Discovering various employers, industries, jobs and more
  • Practicing professional communication by engaging with engineers and recruiters from 200+ employer organizations
  • Gaining insider knowledge on company culture, job expectations and hiring processes
  • Understanding what companies look for in candidates, like background, technical skills, foundational skills, etc.

Spring Engineering Expo

Spring Engineering Expo is the Cockrell School of Engineering’s flagship recruiting event of the spring semester.

    Due to the rescheduling of Expo, the event will now be held over 2 days. Check the event page on 12twenty@Texas regularly to view which employers are attending on each day.

Interested in Volunteering for Expo?

Expo volunteers earn $25/hour for their registered engineering student organization while enhancing its visibility with employers. Volunteering is also a great way for students to get a behind-the-scenes look at the Expo event. Volunteers must be current Cockrell School students.

Volunteer registration opens a few weeks prior to the event. Look out for posted flyers and invites from student org leaders.

  • Fall Engineering Expo typically takes place in September, and information is available in August.
  • Spring Engineering Expo typically takes place in late January/early February, and information is available in January.
