Hosted by the Engineering Career Assistance Center (ECAC), Engineering Expo is one of the largest career fairs in the nation, open to current UT Austin students and alumni. 

Benefits of attending the Expo include:

  • Practicing professional communication by engaging with engineers and recruiters from 200+ employer organizations
  • Gaining insider knowledge on company culture, job expectations and hiring processes
  • Understanding what companies look for in candidates, like background, technical skills, foundational skills etc.

Fall Engineering Expo

Fall Engineering Expo is the Cockrell School of Engineering’s flagship recruiting event of the fall semester.

Senior Reception

The Senior Reception is an exclusive networking event for graduating Cockrell seniors and employers held the night before the Fall Expo. The Senior Reception provides a chance for seniors to chat with industry representatives over hors d'oeuvres; no resume required. Business casual attire required.

Spring Engineering Expo

The Spring Expo is the Cockrell School of Engineering’s flagship recruiting event of the spring semester.

Interested in Volunteering for Expo?

Expo volunteers earn $25/hour for their registered engineering student organization while enhancing its visibility with employers. Volunteering is also a great way for students to get a behind-the-scenes look at the Expo event. Volunteers must be current Cockrell School students.

Volunteer registration opens a few weeks prior to the event. Look out for posted flyers and invites from student org leaders.
