Administered through the Cockrell School’s Department of Mechanical Engineering, the program combines technical and non-technical coursework with project-based initiatives and includes course options in the colleges and schools of Liberal Arts, Communication, Natural Sciences, Engineering and more. The certificate consists of 18 credit hours, and students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher to fulfill the certificate. The program is open to all undergraduate students in the Cockrell School.
