Civil Engineering Students Win Four Awards at Regional Bridge Competition

The University of Texas at Austin’s student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers won three first place awards at the 2007 Texas-Mexico Regional Steel Bridge Competition. The awards were for stiffness, lightness and structural efficiency. The group also won second place overall at the competition. They will advance to compete in Los Angeles, CA this May.
