Future of Microchips

UT has now secured $1.4 billion to create the next generation of semiconductors, and Texas Engineers are at the center of it all.

YOUatUT is a one day pre-college event for high school students (9th-12th grade students) interested in exploring the different engineering fields that The University of Texas at Austin has to offer. Discover how engineering is a profitable and flexible career with unlimited possibilities such as working in medicine, law, research and a wide variety of other industries.

At YOUatUT, participants will explore how engineering benefits society and impacts the world through:

  • Engineering sessions (tours, presentations and activities) led by industry professionals, engineering faculty and/or graduate students
  • Interactive introductions to a variety of engineering areas and exciting career options
  • Creative engineering design and fun hands-on engineering projects
