Dr. Nicholas Peppas, professor of biomedical engineering, chemical engineering and pharmaceutics, and chair of the Biomedical Engineering Department, has won the Maurice Marie Janot Award from the European Pharmaceutical Society APGI and the Paul Neumann Foundation for Scientific Research. The award recognizes an international researcher for the quality, innovation and pioneering impact of his research in pharmaceutical sciences. 
Peppas holds the Fletcher Stuckey Pratt Chair in Engineering.
