Biomedical Engineering Professor Selected as International Fellow

Dr. Lisa Brannon-Peppas, professor of biomedical engineering, was named a Fellow of Biomaterials Science and Engineering by the International Union of Societies for Biomaterials Science and Engineering for her pioneering work on degradable polymers and drug delivery products, especially for cancer treatment. This is the highest international recognition in the field of biomaterials. Brannon-Peppas is the first UT professor to receive this recognition while at UT.
