Event: The speech by Bill Gates, founder and chairman of Microsoft, at The University of Texas at Austin will be webcast live on Wednesday, Feb. 20. Attendance to his talk, entitled "Software, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Giving Back," is limited to computer sciences and electric and computer engineering students and faculty with tickets, but the webcast is available to everyone.

When: 9:30 - 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20.

Background: Gates' visit is part of a five-campus university tour in which he will emphasize the importance of digital innovation in driving the global economy and addressing societal issues and the benefits afforded careers based in math and science.
