Corwin Olson, an aerospace engineering senior, was selected for the Co-op Student Achievement Award by the Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CEIA). Recipients are chosen based on written statements by a CEIA member, the student’s employer and the student.
Olson completed three Cooperative Engineering Education tours with United Space Alliance, working in the Training Division of NASA's Johnson Space Center. He became a certified NASA instructor and taught astronauts and future crew members of the International Space Station. He was ranked among the top four overall instructors in the Training Division by the 2004 class of astronauts.
