The University of Texas at Austin will host its 11th annual "Explore UT, The Biggest Open House in Texas!" from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 6.

More than 50,000 visitors are expected to participate in a day of free activities, performances, demonstrations and lectures.  The Cockrell School of Engineering will be hosting a variety of hands-on activities, lectures, and displays.  Visitors will see the latest in solar powered vehicles, learn about the reverse engineering of toys, find out how computers really work, and experience biomedical engineering and how engineering is involved in the making of artificial body parts.
