The WEP Leadership Collaborative brings together WEP and student-led organizations that serve self-identifying women engineering students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. It is, in part, a network of organizations interested in and engaged in advancing gender equity and inclusion for all in engineering. The WEP Leadership Collaborative includes leadership training, collaboration meetings, coordinated community building, career exploration, mentoring and outreach initiatives.

Society of Women Engineers (SWE) - UT Austin Collegiate Section is a student organization that stimulates undergraduate and graduate women of all engineering majors to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expands the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in the quality of life and demonstrates the value of diversity.

The mission of SWE UT is to strengthen and empower women engineering students by:

Women in Aerospace for Leadership and Development (WIALD)

Women in Aerospace for Leadership and Development (WIALD) is a student organization that provides project-based leadership and development opportunities for undergraduate aerospace engineering women. Previous projects have included launching a high altitude balloon to over 100,000 feet, flying on NASA’s “Vomit Comet" and modifying a drone to carry an autonomous glider.

Calendar: WIALD hosts regular meetings each week throughout the fall and spring semesters to work on the current project, as well as various social events throughout the year. WIALD also is involved in outreach, including events like Explore UT and Girl Day at UT Austin.
